Fix messy audio from videos and recordings

Isolate any sound you describe.

Separate the sounds that matter from the ones that do not. Cut unwanted noise or isolate the voice, instruments, or everyday sounds you want to keep.

Credits, explained simply

You buy credits in packs (checkout shows prices). Each run is priced from how much audio you're actually separating—not your prompt, and not how many stems come back.

Long upload, tiny fix? You only pay for the slice.

Example: a 5-minute video where you select just 15 seconds to clean up is charged as 15 seconds of work → 1 credit, not the full five minutes. In the app, pick Full file, a time range, or a focused moment so pricing matches what you ask us to separate.

What one run costs

The table below uses billable separation length (your range or moment window, or the full file if you separate everything).

Up to 30 seconds of separation

Standard tracks

Over 30s · up to 2 minutes

2credits / run

Long-form

Over 2 min · up to 5 minutes

4credits / run

Moment runs use a short standard separation window (up to 30 seconds, capped by your file length), so quick spot fixes usually stay on the lightest tier.

What counts as one run?

One separation = one charge, at the tier for that run's billable length. Tweak the prompt or settings and go again on the same file? That's a new run—same tier if the separation length hasn't changed. If you retry the exact same request with idempotency (when we support it), you won't get double-charged for a duplicate submit.

Length limit

Each upload can be up to 5 minutes in this version. Need more? Trim or split before upload. Credit tiers still follow the separation length you choose inside that file.

Running low?

If you don't have enough credits to start a job, we'll say so clearly. Grab another pack above, or narrow your time range so the billable slice fits a lighter tier.

Hear it. Lock it. Ship it.

Built for everyday creators and pros alike—from personal clips and vlogs to polished client videos. Clean up noisy audio, remove unwanted voices, and keep the sounds that matter before you export to your usual editing workflow.

Help

Frequently asked questions

Quick answers about how SplitSound fits into your workflow. For legal or contractual detail, rely on your published terms and privacy docs when you go live.

What is SplitSound?
SplitSound helps you clean up messy audio fast. Describe what you want to keep or remove, and get cleaner voice, music, or background tracks in minutes.
Which file formats can I upload?
Most everyday audio and video files work great, including common formats creators already use. If a file can’t be processed, we’ll let you know right away so you can try another one.
How do credits work?
Each separation uses credits. Buy what you need with one-time packs, then spend credits only when you run jobs—simple and flexible, no surprise subscriptions.
Where is my audio stored?
Your uploads stay in your workspace so you can review, refine, and export when you’re ready. We design storage and handling with creator privacy in mind.
How good is the separation?
Results are often excellent for voice clean-up, interviews, vlogs, and everyday creator edits. As with any audio tool, cleaner source recordings usually produce the best final output.
Can I use outputs commercially?
Yes—if you already have rights to your source content. SplitSound helps with the audio processing, while ownership and licensing of content remain with you.
What if a job fails?
If something doesn’t process correctly, you can quickly retry with a better prompt or different source segment. We aim to make it easy to keep moving without losing momentum.
How do I get help?
Need help? Reach out through support and we’ll point you in the right direction. We’re here to help you get from raw file to publish-ready sound faster.
